No Lay off
at the financial meltdown in SBL Group

SBL Group is the biggest manufacturer of the
post-press machinery in Taiwan, and also the top 3
of manufacturer of the world. Their products
included High Speed Folding and Gluing Machine,
Automatic Diecutting and Creasing Plate and
Automatic Foil Stamping and so on. SBL has been the
fourth decade this year; even they’re planning to
build a new factory in Taiwan which is about 140
square feet, in this financial meltdown time. And it
will be finished at the end of 2009.
General Manager Mr. Chiang of SBL Group said that
they have cooperated with a well-known printing
machine company since four years ago. Because of it,
their sales rate keep in positive 25 percent each
year, the supply is unable to meet the demand. The
financial meltdown comes, purchase orders are cut
down, but the superiors of SBL Group declared that
no one will be fired in SBL Group. Tough times never
last, but tough people do.
In order to open the wide marketing
and fame of SBL Group, they attended some
exhibitions, such as Chicago Print’s show in 2006,
IPEX show in 2007 and Drupa show in 2008, SBL Group
is getting grown and famous in the whole world.
Extending factory, setting a Research and
Development Department, upgrading the software of
paper packing and hot foil stamping which have been
promoted by SBL Group these two years. They also
cooperate with an international company for original
design manufacture (ODM) to get a win-win deal and
complete the world sales system of post-press
manufacture machine in Taiwan. Here comes a new
machine called Automatic Diecutting and Creasing
Plate with Lower Heating System in 2009, it is
special designed to operate with plastic material
packing, such as PVC, PE and PET etc, for reaching
elaborate packing.
